Aude Zieseniss de Thuin is Founder of the Women’s Forum and Author of Si les femmes osaient
Aude Zieseniss de Thuin, a psychologist by training, head of a company and specialist in analysing sociological trends, decided to launch, in March 2012 in Paris, a new type of forum on the theme of “Osons la France” (“Let’s dare, France”).
Because youth are in despair, because civil society has never before needed to rally together as much as now, because there is a lack of courage and daring, and because there are no large, stimulating public events dedicated to civil society.
Founder of Women’s Forum, Aude Zieseniss de Thuin is very focused on women’s issues. In January 2012, she will publish, at Robert Laffont, a book entitled “Women, if only you dared! The world would be better”. She is a member of the Eve Ensler Foundation “City of Joy” – a town created in Congo to protect women.
She has also created an association through which she sells, to visitors of the contemporary art exhibition in her Normandy garden, tropical vegetable garden kits destined for poor countries such as Haiti and Niger.
Previously, Aude de Thuin founded the International Week of Direct Marketing (la Semaine Internationale du Marketing Direct) (1980–1993), “Garden Art” exhibition (l’Art du Jardin) (1993–2003), and the exhibition “Design and Savoir Faire (1995–2003).
In 2004, she created the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, which was the first independent forum in the world to promote women’s place in the economy and society. She left this organisation in 2011.
Aude Zieseniss de Thuin is a member of the association “Femmes Forum”. She is officer of the Ordre National du Mérite and is Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur et du Mérite Agricole.
