Idoia Rodés is Regional Managing Director at the MCI Benelux

Idoia holds a BA from University of Barcelona in Economics and studied one year at the IAG of the UCL in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) as part of the Erasmus Programme. Idoia serves as Regional Managing Director at the MCI Benelux directly managing the Brussels office and overseeing and developing the Spanish and Dutch offices. She is part of the International Management Board of the MCI Group, which counts 37 offices in 20 countries.

Idoia’s career includes some 12 years experience in international event management activities, from creating an event as new product for market positioning to dealing with major contract negotiations with big corporate clients. At MCI Brussels she set up and developed the Associations Conference, Corporate Meetings and Destinations Management departments

She is a regular speaker at international MICE industry events including EMIF, UIA, ICCA, EFAPCO and BAPCO. Idoia is also very active in teaching students in Communications the module of Events Management as a partnership with the ICHEC University in Brussels. She received her CMM (Certified Meeting Management) designation in 2005.
