Michele Mees is Author of The Balanced Leader : Dynamics to improve the Masculine/Feminine Balance in Business

Michele Mees is a Partner at FEMCO. She uses her extensive business and consulting experience to team up with CEO’s and management teams in order to define how a balanced organizational culture and an improved gender balance can impact top and bottom line.

Michèle was partner at a marketing consulting company before joining FEMCO. She advised clients in industries such as Finance, ICT and Media/Entertainment on developing and implementing customer-focused strategies for sustainable growth.

Previously Michèle was part of the launch team of two internet companies, after having started her career in the advertising industry.

Michèle is the author of many articles on marketing and communications, and co-author of a book on HR policies and communications (“Personeelsmanagement en communicatie in organisaties”).

At university, Michèle co-founded a student group for the advancement of women.

In 2008, after a career of 18 years, she was surprised and disappointed to see that she was still one of the only women around the table.

She decided to do something about it by helping companies to attract, keep and develop female talent, and by partnering up with Danielle Moens and FEMCO.

Michèle is passionate about developing balanced organizations

in which employees are happier
with whom clients prefer to interact, and
who make a meaningful contribution to society.

She is also mother of 2 teens.
